Saint Jerome "Finds the Words of God"

"So you want 'realism'?" Caravaggio asked. "My kind of realism? OK, but I'm gonna at least give him a table. I mean, people can only take so much...."

Here is CARAVAGGIO'S "SAINT JEROME" (1605).

"Your words were found and I consumed them;
Your word became the joy and the happiness of my heart
" (Jeremiah 15:16).

Happy Feast of Saint Jerome!
